RAD Studio 10 Seattle really it is the best.
But I always face the same problem since first version ever at 1995/1996 (starting with VCL) it is the Arabic support. even now the vcl support BiDi. but still have some small problems ( take the TreeList as example ). OK.. i am agree there was a huge enhancement but now we have FMX witch it complete defrent than VCL and after all that years past. stile without Arabic Support. I feel myself repate the living in the same story again in FMX world. this makes me and others Delphi Programmers always late than others languages programmers ( this is my feeling! because I know and sure I can do everything with delphi with more effective and powerful results). that pushed us ( as an arabic applications developers ) to make our own components from scratch or from other components as a base. sometimes it’s work. sometime it’s not. but finally it’s take time.
But at the end I can say .. i like Delphi soooooo much ( it’s like a love story between me and delphi more than 15 years) and i can’t use FMX components in Arabic applications !!!!! this makes me very sad!
Delphi is really so famuse in Arab countries. I am almost certain every Arab programmer tried Delphi someday. Arabic support is one of important issue behind leaving Delphi ( Normally the new programmers can’t solve that kind of problems. they just use the default components. if they didn’t see the Arabic support they will leave Delphi )

what I DEEPLY hope more support for BiDi.
thank you

Well, I use firemonkey and it is better and better but still not enough. 10 Seattle is good beta version. I would love it but I must doubt about it. Every component, every aspect is made of 70%, not 100%. In comparision to Visual Studio or JetBrains products this is buggy and not complete. Components – I mean important components – are of poor quality without important features. I must report every week some problem which is really exhausting. We are waiting for bug fixies too long. Tests are poor.
That is a pity it could be the greatest product ever. Take money given for advertisement and put it into product quality improvements and testing.
Thank you

Delphi 10 Seattle is definitely a step in the right direction for the IDE. The out of memory issues are finally resolved and it appears to be more stable. It is still concerning that Andreas Hausladen is still producing an IDE Fix Pack for this version, and I would love to see a leaner IDE without modelling, the piracy checks that slow loading etc. It would be great to be able to purchase features available using an a la carte purchasing model rather than the antiquated Pro, Enterprise, Ultimate SKUs . How is accessing a remote RDBMS an Enterprise feature in 2015?
