I am encoding them at 64 KBPS and 22 KHZ instead of 128 KBPS and 44 KHZ now. So the files are about half the size (although they are still getting longer). I am going to look at other compression formats too. . . .

I decided not to vote, because the alternatives aren’t really alternatives, they’re certainly not mutually exclusive. My preferred format would include both a news and a technical part. Roundtable and interview are generally preferable to monologs.

I don’t like screencasts. I listen to podcasts while traveling or cooking, or whatever, not with a screen in front of me.

So far I have enjoyed the podcast. Keep it up!

Plz provide the MP3 files with lower bit-rates too. It is a trouble downloading big MP3 files with slow connections.

It’s hard to pick a single favourite. Different formats make sense for different purposes, and I like that there has been a mix.
